Hello everyone,
I’m so happy and pleased to announce the winner of the $40 gift certificate to The Container Store, her name is Manda Overturf Shank. Congratulations, Manda! Can you send me an e-mail with your address?
What’s the first thought that comes to mind when I say the word doll-house? Mine is childhood memories, memories of countless hours playing house with friends and sometimes by myself, making dolls act the part of various family members.
I’m going to be an aunt in a few months and I’m crossing my fingers hoping that it’s a girl and they, of course, name her after me. I would love to decorate her room and because of that I’m thinking that all little girls need a doll house. Doll houses create hours of playing and entertaining for many girls with their friends as they grow up.
With that thought in mind, what better room design to have for a little girl than her own little home to play in. Most importantly, she gets to sleep in her own dollhouse.
Here are a few examples of adorable dollhouse interior designed themed bedrooms, imagine a young girl’s smiling face every time she walks into her bedroom.
Can you just imagine a little playing in this for hours?
What a great place to learn your homemaker skills.
For the budding gardener to be this interior themed dollhouse is incredible!
She can display her dolls and other toys in this headboard. There’s even a loft bedroom for her friends to stay over for a sleepover.
The white picket fence is such a cute finishing touch for a lovely interior designed dollhouse.
This is such a beautiful and simple look.
This is such girlie room, don’t you think? I love how everything is so matched. Can’t you see her growing up in this room?
As she gets older and wants her own space. How about these ideas?
Her very own interior designed dollhouse in the backyard. I see her having tea parties in these dollhouses.
Very romantic. This would be when she starts to date.
I wish I had that window space for my home.
I saved this one for last. An abandoned farmhouse in Saskatchewan, Canada that’s now a life-size dollhouse. Talk about re-purposing a building.
