It’s promising to be another hot and humid day here on the East Coast. Yesterday, I was in my car when the temperature hit the 100 °F mark—thank God for air conditioning! It seems that summer has decided to arrive in full force, no gradual introduction. It’s saying, “Here I am, deal with it!” The type of weather we’re experiencing makes you lazy because you just don’t want to do anything to exert yourself; you just feel like relaxing at a beach or a pool.
Let me give you the storyline for today’s feature. It’s a weekend that is disgustingly hot. The kids are driving you up the wall wanting to go to a pool. You let your imagination get away and you start to dream about a weekend jaunt to a beautiful resort hotel in an exotic location with no responsibilities and no children. You are just lazing by the pool with your husband or significant other. Deciding on what flavor of margarita you want is your biggest dilemma. Maybe you’d rather have that daiquiri instead? There’s also the question of what kind of salad to order or whether you’re going to have a hamburger with fries instead. Yum! Forget the diet, it’s the weekend–live it up! OK, that’s the general plot. The reviews are excellent – the critics love it!
Since, we can’t get away right now, I say forego that popcorn and just grab a drink. In fact, let’s have a margarita (any flavor that suits your fancy), a hamburger slider and a side order of fries. Send the kids to the neighbor’s pool. As for you, sit back and enjoy today’s show. Ready? Let’s have that beach resort weekend getaway!
OK, I want her job! I want to travel and stay in places where I am greeted with champagne and waited on continuously. Ah! I have always been in awe of hotel designers. They make everything so incredibly inviting and luxurious.
Isn’t that a beautiful resort hotel? I love the color scheme, very soothing. The beautiful four poster bed just screams comfort. I have to admit that I paused the video at several places just to take in the design and the color scheme. I can picture myself sitting on the balcony having breakfast with the ocean as my backdrop. I don’t think there is anything I can add to what she says about the spa! The food! I really think that the resort is telling me I need a weekend getaway.
